A. Halal Food Along Sukhumvit Road
As the longest road in Bangkok, this road houses hotels and restaurants. Finding halal food in Thailand shouldn’t be a problem if you come to this road. It isn’t exactly in the market, but close to it. After all, the area is always busy and buzzing with activities. Finding halal foods is easy although there are several popular suggestions for it. For a starter, you can go to Maedah Restaurant that is serving Turkish, Arabic and Thai options. You have tons of options – it is advisable to try each of them. The Thai iced tea is super refreshing, and their Thai steamed fish is very delicious.
Tomyam Paa Nga is the second place to try when finding halal food in Thailand. They are famous for their Thai dishes, including their signature dish of Tom Yam soup. You will be pampered with a bowl full of fresh prawns, mushroom dollops, squids, and the hearty (and spicy) broth. The place is open 24/7 – which is a great option when you have finished shopping – or you are about to start shopping.
C. Halal Food Near MBK Center
This MBK Center is a super popular spot among travellers and the locals. It is also close to National Stadium BTS Station as well as Siam Center, Siam Paragon, and Siam Discovery. Yana Restaurant is the first option when you are coming to the spot. You can find it inside MBK Center – making it perfect for travellers who have gone through a long walk. Finding halal food that is authentic and affordable is quite easy. The place operates from 10.30 AM to 9 PM.
Another one is the Fifth Food Avenue, also in MBK Center. It is basically a food court with various options and choices, covering Chinese, Thai, and even Indian foods. You will find many stalls selling different items. Find the one with the halal sign. Again, if you aren’t sure, ask. The food court opens from 10 AM to 10 PM.
Halal Food Around Chao Phraya River
This river is the busiest waterway in Bangkok with different boat lines connecting the river with many places. Finding halal food in Thailand is easy if you come to the spot. BBQ Delight, for instance, is offering authentic Middle Eastern and Pakistani dishes. People are willing to wait in lines for their kebabs and Chicken Boti. You can also try the chicken skewers that are freshly grilled – super tender and juicy. You can also pair it with crisp naan that is baked in the oven. It would be enough to keep you full.
